1. Who we are
Ask Wolfie (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a real-estate advisory and analytics platform focused on the United Arab Emirates market. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store and share personal data when you visit our website, use the AskWolfie web or mobile applications, create an account, speak with our AI assistant, connect an integration, request a property report, or otherwise interact with our services (together, the “Services”).
For the purposes of this policy, we act as the data controller of the personal information we collect through our services, unless we state otherwise for a specific processing activity.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Account information — name, email address, phone number, profile photo, authentication details, organisation, and professional role.
- Profile and preference information — investor preferences, budget, target communities, brand settings, notification choices, and other details you choose to share.
- Prompts and generated content — questions and instructions you give AskWolfie, conversation history, AI responses, feedback, and the reports, captions, images, videos, or other content created through the Services.
- Files and media — documents, property images, videos, audio recordings, voice notes, logos, and other material you upload or create.
- Property and enquiry activity — the properties you view, save, compare, analyse, and request reports for, together with lead, campaign, viewing, and enquiry details.
- Communications — messages you send or receive through forms, email, WhatsApp, social platforms, or other connected channels, including replies, delivery status, attachments, and the advisor assigned to a conversation.
- Connected-service information — account identifiers, access permissions, page or business names, leads, posts, calendars, and other data made available when you connect a third-party service. We receive the permissions you approve, and you can disconnect an integration through AskWolfie or the third-party service.
- Payment information — subscription, campaign, invoice, and transaction details. Payment providers process card details; AskWolfie does not store complete payment-card numbers.
- Technical information — IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time spent on those pages, and opens of property guides delivered after an advertising enquiry.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal data (such as health, religion, or political affiliation). Please avoid submitting such information through our services.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- To operate the platform — create and maintain your account, deliver property reports, and respond to your enquiries.
- To provide AI features — interpret prompts and uploaded materials, retrieve relevant information, and generate responses, reports, media, and recommendations.
- To provide connected features — import, display, organise, draft, schedule, or publish content and communications when you instruct us to do so.
- To personalise the experience — surface relevant listings, market insights, and recommendations.
- To process payments — administer subscriptions, advertising spend, invoices, and refunds.
- To communicate with you — send booking confirmations, transactional notifications, and (with your consent) marketing communications about services we think you may value.
- To improve our services — understand how visitors use the site, diagnose performance issues, and prioritise the roadmap.
- To protect the platform — detect fraud, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
- To comply with legal obligations — respond to lawful requests from courts, regulators, or law-enforcement authorities.
4. How AskWolfie uses AI
AskWolfie uses artificial-intelligence models to understand your requests and generate content. To provide these features, the prompt you submit and relevant context — which may include conversation history, selected property data, connected-service data, or files you choose to attach — may be sent to our AI service providers for processing on our behalf.
AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before you rely on it, publish it, or use it to make a property, financial, legal, or business decision. AskWolfie does not use solely automated processing to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you. Please do not submit highly sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for the feature you are using.
5. Legal basis for processing
Where UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “PDPL”), or an equivalent data-protection law in your jurisdiction, applies to our processing, we rely on one or more of the following bases:
- Contract — to deliver the services you have requested and enable your account.
- Legitimate interests — to improve, secure, and market our services in a manner that is not overridden by your rights and interests.
- Consent — where you have given us specific consent, for example, for direct marketing or non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — where we are required to process your data to comply with UAE law or lawful requests from competent authorities.
7. International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside the UAE. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or your explicit consent, in line with the PDPL and applicable law.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting obligations, and to resolve disputes. The retention period depends on the type of data, why we collected it, the settings of any connected service, and applicable legal requirements. In general:
- Account, workspace, conversation, and created-content data — retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can provide the Services, honour deletion requests, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
- Transactional communications and connected-service data — retained for the period needed to provide the relevant feature and meet audit, dispute-resolution, and record-keeping requirements, then deleted or anonymised.
- Analytics and security records — retained for a limited period appropriate to their operational or security purpose, and may then be aggregated or de-identified. Encrypted IP and device metadata associated with advertising project-guide opens is retained for no more than 90 days.
- Marketing preferences — retained until you opt out or object.
9. Your rights
Subject to the PDPL and other applicable laws, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of your personal data where processing is no longer necessary.
- Object to, or restrict, certain processing activities.
- Request the portability of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing based on that consent.
- Lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office or the competent data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.

10. Security
We use appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, and destruction. These include encryption in transit, restricted-access infrastructure, hashed passwords, and role-based access controls. No system is perfectly secure, however, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
11. Children’s data
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us so we can delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or the services we offer. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page and, where the changes are material, provide additional notice (for example, via email or an in-app notice).
